"A" is for Alligator... FREE PRINTABLE

"A" is for "alligator!"  Make this easy alligator craft with this FREE printable, a cheese grater, "eyes" (wiggly eyes, jewels, buttons), crayons, tape, and glue!
Here's your FREE printable -

Place the “body” of the alligator over a cheese grater.  Using the side of a crayon, make a rubbing to get a texture on the alligator’s body.  Tape teeth and glue eyes onto the alligator.  Write a capital and lower-case “A” inside the alligator’s mouth.

SUPER easy and a great way for your kiddos to practice writing their letters!  Enjoy! :)

A is for Apple!

Today, we worked on letter A!  We started out with a taste-test of 3 different kinds of apples.  We used red delicious, golden delicious, and pink lady apples.  Use whatever varieties you can find!

Let the kids taste-test and document their findings.  What color are the apples?  What do they taste like?  My son went with "tasty" and "bad," but encourage them to use more descriptive words like "tart, sweet, juicy, etc."  Haha.
While your kids/students are recording their findings, peel & dice your apples and toss with cinnamon and flour (*recipe below).
Have your kids take turns mixing and pouring in ingredients.
While your muffins are baking, have them finish their taste-test findings.  Then, enjoy your tasty snack!
